DR.SUNAY BHAT

I have worked with Dr.Gokul kruba Shanker for nearly 3 years and He was my mentor for the post doctoral fellowship in advanced laparoscopic surgery from 2017-2019.

Dr.Gokul is not only a surgical mentor but also a life coach whom one can easily look up to and learn little things that count such as compassion towards patients, safe standardized surgical techniques , practical approach to surgical patients and safeguarding against medico legal issues . His eye for details , quality and aesthetics are impeccable!

I owe a lot to Dr.Gokul for providing me enough opportunities to learn with an open mind, encouraging me to be involved in patient care ,decision making, participate at various national, international conferences and most importantly, fine tuning my surgical skills. He currently heads the dept of surgical gastroenterology at VGM hospital and has a dedicated, well oiled OT team under his wings.

DR.VADIRAJ HUNNUR

I landed in Coimbatore in pursuit of learning and harnessing my skills in laparoscopy and oncology.

I was made to feel welcome instantly. My initial inability to communicate in Tamil was never allowed to be a hindrance in patient care, thanks to Gokul Sir and the OT staff. I had abundant clinical and surgical exposure in minimal access surgery, GI oncology and endoscopy, without too much work pressure and stress. I felt great when the teachers were receptive to ideas in patient care, even when they are coming from me.

DrGokul, Dr Hariprasad, Dr AnandBharathan, Dr Saravanan and Dr VGM Sir were awesome pillars of training for me.

I am proud to have been associated with, and ever grateful to Gokul Sir and team and fortunate enough to apply my learnings there in routine practice.

DR.PRAVEEN M PATIL

I joined VGM hospital for Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery under Dr Gokul Sir in 2012.

Now I have started my private practice and doing all Advanced Laparoscopy Surgeries.During the training it was a joyful experience and was very comfortable.

Also thanks to Dr Saravanan Subburaj Sir for timely guidance for post-op care.Overall a very good team of Dr Gokul Sir.
